Privacy, in plain words

Effective 12 October 2026

This notice concerns the Linkhazel public website and the messages you send about early access. A writer’s work deserves care; so does the information shared in a conversation with us.

What reaches us

When you email Linkhazel, we receive your email address, the name your mail service provides, and anything you put in the message. Please leave out sensitive personal information that is not needed for your enquiry.

Loading a page also sends ordinary connection information to the hosting infrastructure, such as an IP address, requested path, time, and browser details. Hosting providers may record this information to deliver pages and investigate faults or misuse.

What these pages do

The public pages contain no analytics scripts, advertising pixels, or embedded media. They do not set cookies through page code. Opening an email link hands the next step to your chosen mail application.

Why information is kept

We use correspondence to answer you and manage your interest in early access. Connection records support reliable delivery and abuse prevention. Where data protection law requires a legal basis, requested replies serve your enquiry and operational records serve our legitimate interest in running a dependable website.

Messages are kept while the enquiry remains relevant, then removed when no longer needed unless a legal obligation or an unresolved dispute requires retention. Email and hosting providers may process information on our behalf, including in other countries under applicable protections. We do not sell your correspondence.

Your choices and other destinations

You can ask us to stop contacting you, correct information, or remove an enquiry. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to access, object, restrict processing, or receive a copy of your data, and to complain to a privacy regulator.

A destination reached through a shared link has its own operator and privacy practices. This notice does not describe every process used by the separate short-link service on this domain. Ask us about a particular link if its handling is unclear.
